A woman file complaint in police station in Coimbatore, India that his husband made his sex videos and revealed public

A woman lodged a complaint against her husband at the all women police station here on Friday accusing him of shooting obscene footage after drugging her. According to the complainant, the husband also threatened her that he would upload the content on internet unless she gave him 10 sovereigns of gold and Rs 1 lakh. Police have sent a special team to Bangalore to nab the accused.

H Shemeena, 20, of Ooty in Nilgiris district had married Mohammed Bayas, 25, of RK Nagar of Bangalore on December 5, 2010. Shemeena's parents had given seven sovereigns of gold ornaments and one lakh rupees as dowry to the groom. Later, the couple went to Bangalore.

However, Mohammed Bayas did not have a job and sold off the jewels. Recently, Shemeena fell ill and when she complained of headache, Bayas gave her two tablets. She fell unconscious after taking the tablets and he shot a video of her. According to the FIR, he compelled her to have sexual intercourse with his friends. He threatened her that he would upload the videos on the internet, if she resisted. But Shemeena refused and he harassed her. Whenever, he went out, he would lock her inside the house.
Eventually, Shemeena escaped his custody and came to her brother's house at Nehru Nagar at Kalapatti. Bayas visited her here as well and threatened her. He demanded 10 sovereigns of gold and one lakh rupees from her family and threatened to upload the video on internet if they failed to accede to his demand.

Immediately, Shemeena complained at the all women police station at Ramanathapuram. Munira Begum, inspector at the station, said a special team has been formed to nab Bayas. "We have formed a special team and they have gone to Bangalore to nab the culprit," she said. The police registered a criminal case under sections 498(a)(husband or relative of a husband subjecting her to cruelty), 406 (criminal breach of trust), intimidation, 506(i) (criminal intimidation) and Tamil Women Harassment Prevention Act.

Paris Hilton relaunching pop career

Socialite-actress Paris Hilton is seemingly set to relaunch her pop career.

The 29-year-old met up with acclaimed songwriter Linda Perry who is responsible for Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful" and Gwen Stefani's "What You Waiting For?" among other tracks sparking speculation she is planning a follow-up to her 2006 LP "Paris", reports imdb.com.

Hilton revealed the news on twitter and wrote: "Went and visited Linda Perry at her studio. She is so cool and her studio is incredible. I respect her so much as a producer, what a talent."

"Stars are blind", the first single from "Paris" was an international smash hit upon its release, reaching the top five in the British, Italian, Swedish and Canadian charts.

Karnataka CM orders CID probe into sexual assault case

Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa on Monday ordered a CID inquiry into the rape charges lodged by a woman against Harathalu Halappa, who quit as the Minister of Food and Civil Supplies following a media report on the alleged incident.

"I have decided now to order a CID inquiry. Let the truth come out. Whoever is guilty should get punishment," he told reporters in Bangalore.

The CM said the opposition was "harping" on Halappa who had resigned even before the charges against him were proved.

Congress is demanding Halappa's arrest and a CBI probe into the charge.

Yeddyurappa accused them of trying to give a "new form" to the issue and resorting to "political revenge".

Asked if the alleged incident would hurt BJP's prospects in the Panchayat elections slated for May 8 and 12, the CM said "People are wise and they know what is right and what is wrong. Why was this brought out just before Panchayat elections?" he asked.

The alleged sexual assault took place in the last week of November.

Judge M L Tahaliyani will pronounce a verdict in the biggest terror trial the city has witnessed in recent times in a short while from now. In the box will be Ajmal Amir Kasab, the Pakistani gunman charged with the deaths of 166 Indians and foreigners. Along with him, his two Indian co-accused -- Faheem Ansari and Sabauddin Shaikh -- will also know their fate.

The prosecution has gathered a heap of evidence against Kasab and presented strong arguments that are capable of sending him to the gallows. Special prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam has charged Kasab with not just the criminal acts of killing and injuring scores of innocent people, but has termed him guilty of the entire conspiracy that went into planning and executing the dastardly attack.

Nikam has argued that Kasab is a highly trained and motivated member of the Pakistani terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) who underwent months of training in weapons and intelligence so he could execute the well-planned attack on Mumbai. Nikam has also relied on scores of witness testimonies in a bid to establish Kasab's role in the killing of innocents at CST and Cama Hospital, the gunning down of senior policemen in Badruddin Tyabji Lane and the final gunbattle at Marine Drive.

The case against Ansari and Shaikh revolves around Kasab's confession to magistrate R V Sawant Waghule in February 2009. Kasab had said that the duo supplied maps of Mumbai to LeT bosses. Thus, they gave logistical support to carry out the attack.

Both Ansari and Shaikh have denied all wrongdoing. Their main argument is why would the LeT rely upon crude maps allegedly supplied by them when far more sophisticated versions were easily available on the internet. After the arrest of American David Coleman Headley, they also argued that recce work for the attack was done by him and they had been framed needlessly in the case.

In September 2006, after 13 years of arguments, the Tada court had begun giving its verdicts in the 1993 serial blasts case. It was the last major trial in recent times.
